Personality
Luit is withdrawn, but gives off the sense that he always knows something you don't. He's the type of guy that can be found smirking to himself, as if he's busy starring in his own show and everyone around him is just two-dimensional. Luit is a lone wolf and he prefers to keep it that way. He doesn't like being pinned down and enjoys the freedom to travel whenever he likes and shift into whatever he likes. For this reason he doesn't get entangled with other people or with current events. Luit stays out of politics, even ones that may involve shapeshifters.
Background
Luit was born in Norston, a smaller city on the outskirts of Valedge. His mother was a young widow and his father was a traveling merchant from Westdell - and a man that refused to remove his gloves and thick socks during coitus. Luit's mother had been unable to conceive with her late husband and was rather surprised to find herself pregnant with the child of a stranger long gone. She was even more surprised to discover that her baby had black claws on his hands and toes, and bright maroon eyes. It was something out of legends, and unsure of whether Luit was actually a shifter or some sort of demon child, his mother kept his identity a secret from the rest of the town. When Luit began showing signs of shifting, it was all but confirmed, and Luit's mother impressed on him early how important it was to never allow anyone to know he was a shifter.
